Hana is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. She is working towards achieving the Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT) certification. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She will create a comfortable and secure environment for her clients to unload and express all their thoughts and emotions. She cares about her clients and the stories they bring into session. She desires for each client to defeat any lies, negative beliefs, and traumatic experiences to be free from all varieties of distress. She has a passion for those struggling with body image issues, depressed feelings, and anxious minds. She particularly works with youth who have various diagnoses including; anxiety disorder, OCD, PTSD, traumatic experiences, depression, and eating disorders. Hana will help her clients travel through a journey to become the best versions of themselves. Hana uses a mixture of person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches which she combines with the neuroscience of how the brain has been affected by previous trauma or experiences. Hana has experience counseling kids navigate significant behavioral issues and past traumatic events.
Certifications: (1) "LPC"- Licensed Professional Counselor; (2) “Certified Sex Addiction Therapist - Candidate” specializing in the treatment of individuals with sexually addictive/compulsive behaviors and their betrayed partners/families; and (3) "DARTT"- Trauma Therapist, addresses pain/trauma from our families of origin and/or relationships later in life.
