Walker brings a wealth of clinical and life experience to the Intact team through compassionate engagement with his clients. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in Ohio, Alabama, and Florida. He is committed to helping individuals, couples, and their families find hope, healing, and growth in the midst of the pain and discomfort they are living with. His heart is one of deep compassion and empathy.

Walker specializes in working with sexually compulsive and addictive behaviors in the betraying partner, while also supporting the betrayed partner. Walker has extensive experience assisting clients in navigating their recovery path using evidence-based practices and integrating care for the whole person. He creates a safe, nonjudgmental space in each session that helps reduce clients’ anxiety as they face overwhelm, discouragement, and loneliness. Treatment with Walker offers clients direction as they unpack unhealthy behavioral issues and the underlying trauma, while gaining insight and wisdom that support healing and the restoration of relationships with self, partner, family, and their faith.

Walker also brings insight to concerns such as anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, communication challenges, and spiritual questions, including spiritual trauma. He seeks to meet every client where they are with warmth, respect, and practical care. When desired, a client’s spirituality can be integrated into the therapy process. Through a collaborative and practical approach, Walker helps clients develop healthier ways of coping, relating, and moving into healthier rhythms with clarity, freedom, and purpose.
