LISW-S, CSAT Candidate

It is an honor to be invited into a chapter of a client’s life story. Therapy can bring validation, restoration, and healing. For the past 35 years Jane’s work has focused on providing the skills necessary to disarm the negative impact of traumas, betrayals, abuse, addictions, losses, and mental health issues. Her approaches include strength-based, cognitive behavioral, and systems therapies. When asked, Jane can integrate a client’s faith and therapeutic work.

Jane graduated from Hope College in Michigan and graduate school at the University of Connecticut. She holds an Ohio license (LISW-S) as an Independent Clinical Social Worker and as a supervisor for Social Work professionals. She has studied trauma and PTSD under Bessel van der Kolk, MD. Also, she studied sexual addictions under Patrick Carnes, PhD. She is an experienced educator and speaker. She has two sons who are married, and each family has 3 amazing teenagers. They keep her busy flying between Ohio and Maine to be their Nana.
